One WWE Superstar is not sad to see Eva Marie leave WWE.It was reported earlier this year that Marie would not be returning for the seventh season of Total Divas on the E! Network. Marie has not appeared on WWE television since last August when she was suspended for 30 days for her first violation of the company's Wellness Policy. The last time that fans saw Marie on television was during the season 6 finale of Total Divas dealing with her WWE suspension. It was then reported in March that WWE would not be renewing her contract.

On Friday, not only did Marie announce her departure from the company, but WWE did as well. She had been with the company since 2013. Since she was suspended, Marie has made changes to her look as she now has black hair and filmed a few movies. Once that report came out about her future with the company, she stopped any mention of wrestling on her social media accounts and removed references to WWE on her Twitter profile.

Marie announced her departure from WWE on her Instagram account by writing the following goodbye statement to her fans as well as her co-workers:

“Today is a bittersweet day, as @WWE and I have agreed to part ways. It has been an incredible 4 years, and I am truly grateful to Vince, Paul, Stephanie and the entire WWE team. I would not be where I am today without their continued support.

There are such priceless moments from the past few years...everything from visiting our troops in Afghanistan to working alongside the Special Olympics. I couldn't even begin to share them all here, but there's no doubt - I will carry them with me into this exciting journey ahead.

Last but not least, thank YOU, my fans, for allowing me to live out a dream that I could have never imagined for myself. You are the reason I love to go to work, and that's not changing anytime soon! And finally...the hustle won't stop! After shooting back to back films, more are coming, and I can’t wait to share with you soon. #Love #AllRedEverythingForever”

Rusev, who is known to be quite the entertaining person on social media, quickly took to his official Twitter account to comment on Marie’s departure. It only took him one hour after the news broke to tweet out, "Hate to see legends retire!"
