Stockport boss Gary Ablett is hopeful the club's future can be safeguarded in the coming weeks with the injection of fresh investment.
County are still languishing in administration and currently lie in the relegation zone after four successive League One defeats.
"We are getting to the stage where we hope some investment will be coming into the club in the next couple of weeks," said Ablett.
"We can't complain about the effort the boys have given since the start of the season, but the table doesn't lie and we probably lack that bit of quality in the last third."
