WWE officials were very upset with one segment on Raw.

WWE had to make a change to their plans at SummerSlam. As seen on this week’s episode of Raw, there were two triple threat matches that took place on the show. The reason for these qualifying matches was due to Bayley suffering a shoulder injury that has forced her out of her Raw Women’s Championship match with Alexa Bliss at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

Nia Jax defeated Mickie James and Dana Brooke while Sasha Banks defeated Alicia Fox and Emma. Now, Jax and Banks will wrestle each other next week’s episode of Raw in Boston, MA at the TD Garden to determine who will wrestle Bliss at SummerSlam.

WWE also had Bayley come out on Monday Night Raw to discuss her injury during an in-ring interview. The crowd did not take this segment very well as they were obviously booing during her promo. WWE uploaded the clip to their YouTube channel, and it’s pretty clear that they cut out the part of her interview where she addressed the boos from the fans as she was clearly frustrated at their reaction.

Raw commentator Corey Grave stated during the promo that they were in “bizarro world.” This reference was cut out in the edited clip on YouTube. For those who might not know, the “bizarro world” comment is something that’s said by announcers whenever a crowd doesn’t give the desired reaction, and it’s something that Vince McMahon has been telling announcers to say for over a decade.

"Vince McMahon was very likely not happy at all with the surprise negative reaction to Bayley last night during her interview. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, when McMahon doesn't like the way something is playing out on live TV, he directs one of the announcers to comment that the situation is "bizarro world" and that is what Corey Graves ended up saying when the boos rained down."

In the past, the “bizarro world” and “bizarro land” references have been used on WWE programming when they’re in places like Toronto, Montreal, London, Chicago and cities where there is a post-Mania episode of Raw.
