Summer Slam is less than two weeks away and while the match card is already pretty full, one more big match was added to the event on Tuesday's episode of Smackdown.

The event will be headlined by the fatal 4-way for the Universal Championship and Shinsuke Nakamura's first WWE Championship match, but several other big name matches have already been made for the event.

Cena in action

It was announced on Tuesday's episode of Smackdown that john Cena will in fact be in action at Summer Slam.

Following on from his 'dream match' against Nakamura on Smackdown last week, Cena will face the man that he put through a table one week ago.

Following on from his win, Nakamura was attacked last week by Mr Money in the Bank, Baron Corbin - who would have had Smackdown's #1 contender at his mercy if Cena hadn't have gotten involved.

Cena interjected himself into the conflict and would actually AA Corbin through the announce table before the post- broadcast segment would go off the air.

The two would come face to face again on Smackdown on Tuesday night and it would end with the thoughts of Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan.

While Corbin was happy to call Cena "not worth my time", and walk away from the 16 time world champion, Bryan had other ideas.

Bryan would come out and announce that Corbin will step into the ring one on one with Cena at Summer Slam.

Mr Money in the Bank hasn't quite convinced all of the fans that he deserves the keys to Smackdown's future just yet, but WWE clearly think that a feud with Cena will do just that.

A huge night in prospect

The clash between Cena and Corbin will be a big match at Summer Slam, but there have already been several high profile matches made for the event.

While the fatal 4-way match between Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns and Samoa joe is the most anticipated match of the night, there is still a lot to look forward to.

Jinder Mahal vs Nakamura, Rusev vs Randy Orton and Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt will all combine into what should be a great show.
