Real Madrid got the better of Manchester United in last night's UEFA Super Cup match. The Champions League holders won 2-1 against Jose Mourinho's side, who won the Europa League in May. Goals from Casemiro and Isco ensured Zinedine Zidane's side won the continental curtain raiser at the Philip II Arena in Macedonia. *LIVE COVERAGE*GIVEMESPORT will broadcast live coverage of the US PGA Championship on Facebook from 10-13 August. Live coverage starts Thursday 10 August, 18:00-00:15 HERE.The Red Devils' new signing Romelu Lukaku scored the consolation goal but had a competitive debut of mixed fortunes.Despite his goal, he was fairly disappointing. The Belgian missed from six-yards out with United 2-0 down and had they scored earlier, the game could have had a different outcome. As well as that miss, Lukaku also made a huge mistake in the first half, leading to a number of fans branding him 'braindead'.    The striker sprinted onto what he must have thought was a pass from Ander Herrera who had just intercepted the ball from Madrid's back line.Had the Spaniard not been cut off by his teammate, he could have simply carried on and squared the ball for Lukaku to tap in.Incredibly, the 24-year-old instead ran on to the loose ball and clearly wasn't aware he was offside until the linesman swiftly raised his flag to call a stop to play.Understandably, Herrera was left fuming, spreading his arms out wide to Lukaku questioning why he felt the need to take over possession. But it wasn't his reaction that caught the attention of fans on social media. Instead, they concentrated on Toni Kroos, who appeared to laugh at Lukaku's mistake. The German would have been at fault if United went on to score because it was his pass that was cut out. Luckily, Lukaku spared his blushes and Kroos certainly didn't seem at all sympathetic, grinning at his opponent's mistake. Check it out below.

As it has been so often, Madrid also got the last laugh at the end of the night. They secured back-to-back Super Cup wins and will surely be the team to beat again next season.
