An injured WWE Superstar could be appearing at SummerSlam later this month. That Superstar is Nikki Bella. She alongside John Cena made big headlines earlier this year at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida following their mixed tag team match against Maryse and The Miz.*LIVE COVERAGE*GIVEMESPORT will broadcast live coverage of the US PGA Championship on Facebook from 10-13 August. Live coverage starts Thursday 10 August, 18:00-00:15 HEREThe former WWE Champion got down on one knee and popped the big question to her. They had been dating for years, but it was believed that he would never marry again due to his previous marriage that ended badly. That is the last time that the WWE Universe has seen her on WWE programming. She took time off to let her neck, which she had surgery on, heal up.Keep in mind that before WrestleMania 33, there were some rumors going around that she would be forced to retire after the event due to her neck issues. However, she intends on returning to the ring, even if it takes her another year to do so.Bella indicated on Twitter that she would be sitting in the front row at SummerSlam. Cena is scheduled to face Baron Corbin in singles action. As seen below, Bella replied to Corbin's tweet that he sent out after this week’s episode of SmackDown Live went off the air on the USA Network with some trash talk to Mr. Money In the Bank. She wrote the following:“And I can't wait to sit front row and see him slap that mouth right off your face! No one gives & inspires as much as that man does. N.”

SummerSlam takes place on August 20th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Both Raw and SmackDown rosters will be featured on the card. We still do not know when Bella will be returning to action, but an appearance at the biggest event of the summer for the sports entertainment company could lead to something. She is still on the blue brand roster. Time will tell what happens at SummerSlam.
