LeBron James has been up to a lot this NBA offseason in order to get his mind off the fact his Cleveland Cavaliers lost 4-1 in the NBA Finals series against the Golden State Warriors for the NBA Championship.

As well as posting training videos on his Instagram which many people have hidden messages to his critics and other players in the league such as his Cavaliers teammate Kyrie Irving for reasons you may know, and playing pickup games with his friends, the four-time MVP has been relaxing this offseason in other ways.

Rather than chasing up the next star for Cleveland to sign like he has done in the past, James has been showing his more fun side by recently taking part in carpool karaoke with James Corden.

LIVE COVERAGE

GIVEMESPORT will broadcast live coverage of the US PGA Championship on Facebook from 10-13 August. Live coverage starts Thursday 10 August, 18:00-00:15 HERE

The 13-time NBA All-Star can be seen with the show's host James Corden in a preview of an upcoming episode of "Carpool Karaoke: The Series" in which he sings along to Michael Sembello's "Maniac", which was made famous by the movie "Flashback".

The Cavaliers star and the host of The Late Late Show look like they're having a great time, dancing in rhythm to the music and singing away as you can see in the video preview below. Skip to 6:46 for the preview or James singing with Corden.

Do we dare to believe that this could be another cryptic message which James is sending out to Irving for his request to be traded away from Cleveland this summer? Hmmm, probably not.

According to Cleveland.com, the series is an offshoot of the popular singing with celebrities segment on Corden's The Late Late Show on CBS, and it will air on Apple Music with new episodes released every Tuesday.

However, they also mentioned that the exact date of when this episode featuring the Cavaliers star will be released is yet to be known. They also stated LeBron and Corden will also appear in a parody of a buddy cop movie entitled "James and James."

NBA fans would have also noticed in the trailer above Shaq O'Neill and John Cena singing Hall & Oates’ "Maneater" which should be a great watch as well.
