Longtime 145-pound knockout artist Cris Cyborg is finally a UFC Champion.

The former Strikeforce featherweight champion is one of the most dominant female mixed martial artists of all time, as her ridiculous knockout power has been the downfall of nearly every woman that has stood across the cage from her. Cyborg made her UFC debut back in May of last year with a first round knockout win over Leslie Smith. She followed that up with a second round knockout win over UFC newcomer Lina Lansberg. Last month (Sat. July 29, 2017) Cyborg won her first UFC title when she defeated Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger for the vacant 145-pound strap.

Cyborg has yet to fight a high profile opponent in the UFC, and with the recent win of her UFC title, many fight fans are hoping we finally see the Brazilian tested against a fellow elite fighter. One such fighter could be former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm. Holm's coach, Mike Winkeljohn, recently joined Submission Radio to discuss a possible match-up between Holm and Cyborg.

Winkeljohn claims to have seen a few holes in Cyborg's game after her recent title fight with Evinger, and believes Holm would be able to finish the Brazilian in a potential bout (quotes via MMA Mania):

“You know, Cris, she showed that she could do some more rounds. I wasn’t sure about her conditioning after her weight cut, but there’s some holes in her game, there’s no doubt. I think Evinger showed a lot of that and she exposed her in many ways.

"I think Holly can pick her apart. There’s no doubt about that. What people don’t understand is how strong Holly is too in the clinch, on her feet and moving and stuff.

"But yeah, Cris is really strong, but I think Holly wears her down and is able to stop her.

"You look at Holly’s knockout percentage, I think her and Amanda Nunes are the biggest out there. She stops all of her fights, everybody else other than Cyborg.

"So Holly has the power to stop Cyborg just like Cyborg has the power, the difference is Holly’s got speed and her footwork.”
