Antwi back for Dale clash

League Two table toppers Dagenham are set to welcome Will Antwi back to their defence for the visit of fellow promotion hopefuls Rochdale.

Antwi missed the 1-0 win at Accrington last weekend after coming down with a bout of flu but is well enough to take his place against Keith Hill's side.

Right-back Abu Ogogo is available after a three-match suspension but manager John Still is likely to keep faith with Nana Ofori-Twumasi after his recent loan signing from Chelsea

Forward Josh Scott returns after a thigh injury and will hope to start alongside Paul Benson in attack.

Midfielder Danny Spiller has returned to light training after a groin injury but will be unavailable for at least another two weeks.

Rochdale could hand a debut to on-loan midfield duo Will Atkinson and Jason Taylor.

Both players have signed one-month deals from Hull and Rotherham respectively.

However, Dale boss Hill looks set to be without a number of players through injury and suspension.

Skipper Gary Jones is nursing a hamstring injury, winger Joe Thompson is struggling with a groin strain and goalkeepers Kenny Arthur and Matty Edwards remain sidelined with back and wrist injuries respectively.

Midfielder Ciaran Toner is still not fully fit after shin splints and Dale Stephens and Simon Whaley have returned to Oldham and Norwich respectively following the end of their loan spells.

Defender Nathan Stanton will serve the fourth and final game of his suspension.
