Substitutes Adam Stansfield and Richard Logan both scored in stoppage-time to hand Exeter a well-deserved three points in a 3-1 win over Stockport.

Stansfield drove home from 15 yards after latching on to Ryan Harley's through-ball, before Logan could not miss from close range.

Exeter just about had the better of the first half and went in at the break with the lead.

Stuart Fleetwood nodded a free header straight at hosts' keeper Owain fon Williams in just the second minute, before Barry Corr shot inches wide for the visitors after 30 minutes.

After a foul on Fleetwood 30 yards out, Ryan Harley curled in a free-kick to put the Grecians in front after 39 minutes.

Stockport should have levelled seconds before the interval, but Peter Thompson fired straight at Andy Marriott after racing clear.

Veteran Marcus Stewart almost put Exeter two clear, before Stockport equalised with nine minutes to go.

Left-back Michael Rose curled in another free-kick from 25 yards after Danny Pilkington had been felled but Exeter had the final say.
