Due to the circumstances, that is good news for the WWE Superstar. Typically, that type of injury because a complete bicep tear could have kept him out for 4-6 months.

A partial tear would have to require 3-6 weeks of rehab time. It appears that the severity of his injury seems to be somewhere in the middle. Dawson suffered the injury at the WWE live event in Halifax last weekend. Although he worked live events last Saturday and Sunday, he was examined by WWE doctors while backstage at last week’s Raw TV event.

The details regarding how he suffered the injury are still not clear. The word going around backstage at Raw was that it was a fluke injury. It’s a real shame that he suffered the injury because his tag team partner Dash Wilder had just returned to action after he recovered from a broken jaw.

McKenna wrote the following on his official Twitter account, “Gave @ryansatin an update for the show last night but for a little more detail, Dawson's surgery went well. Expected back in December.”

As a result of this injury, The Revival’s match against The Hardy Boyz at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event is off the table. It will be interesting to see who The Hardy Boyz face at the biggest event of the summer for the sports entertainment company.

Although it has yet to be announced, it’s likely that Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will challenge Sheamus and Cesaro for the Raw Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam. WWE has two options here. They could book The Hardy Boyz against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a tag team match at the event due to their history as of late. WWE could also book The Hardy Boyz into the Raw Tag Team Title match and make a 3-Way match. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out.
