As a result of Scott Dawson’s injury, The Revival’s match against The Hardy Boyz at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event is off the table. It will be interesting to see who The Hardy Boyz face at the biggest event of the summer for the sports entertainment company.

Although it has yet to be announced, it’s likely that Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will challenge Sheamus and Cesaro for the Raw Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam. WWE has two options here.

They could book The Hardy Boyz against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a tag team match at the event due to their history as of late. WWE could also book The Hardy Boyz into the Raw Tag Team Title match and make a 3-Way match. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out.

It appears that the WWE Universe may see Sheamus and Cesaro drop the Raw Tag Team Titles soon. Dave Meltzer noted in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Sheamus would be taking time off soon to film the upcoming “The Buddy Games” movie. The former WWE Champion is expected to be off WWE television for a month or even longer, so it’s expected that WWE will have them drop the titles very soon.

SummerSlam is set to take place on August 20th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Both Raw and SmackDown rosters will be featured on the card. Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe in a Universal Championship Fatal 4-Way Match will headline this event.

Here is a look at the updated card for the event:
