Conor McGregor is one of the biggest sports stars in the world today and WWE would do anything to get him to appear on an episode of Monday Night RAW but, as of writing, they have not been successful.Notorious hasn't exactly had the best of relationships with the WWE, as last year, saying how he would slap the heads off of the entire roster, which caused outrage amongst several superstars including Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, JBL, and Chris Jericho. He also called John Cena a ‘failed Mr. Olympia’, saying before his UFC 202 clash with Nate Diaz according to MMA Fighting: "What's the main guy? John Cena. He's 40. He's 40 years of age. He's walking around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a headband talking about nobody can see him. We can see him right there. He's a big fat, 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympia mother f****r."

Despite this, there is one person in the WWE that the UFC fighter loves, as he revealed in a recent interview during his media day at the UFC Performance Center ahead of his super fight against Floyd Mayweather later this month.

McGregor was asked by the media earlier this week about Vince McMahon and his billion dollar strut, which he uses as well prior to his fights inside the Octagon.

The Irishman replied, according to Damon Martin: "I love Vince McMahon. He's a mad bastard."

It comes as no surprise that McGregor loves Mr. McMahon, as he has built an empire in the sports entertainment business, just like he is trying to build an empire in the combat sports business, whether that be in MMA or Boxing.

WWE will still be very desperate to try and get McGregor and Mayweather on their programming because of the attention it would bring to their own show before the two come face to face inside a boxing ring on August 26 in Las Vegas, six days after SummerSlam takes place in Brooklyn.

It would be a big result if they are able to do so, but at the moment, it looks unlikely to happen. Maybe they should get Vince himself to do the negotiations with Conor.
