Neil Woods will welcome Bradford to Blundell Park in his first match as permanent Grimsby manager.
The former youth-team boss has been in temporary charge since Mike Newell left over a month ago and has impressed enough to be given the post permanently.
Grimsby have lost one and drawn three of their League Two matches under Woods' stewardship, including the 0-0 draw at relegation rivals Lincoln on Saturday.
With Woods now in charge, the Mariners are hoping to bolster the squad before the loan deadline on the November 26.
Nicky Featherstone and Michael Coulson joined on loan last week and should both start against the Bantams.
But Woods will still be without Rob Atkinson who is suspended after he was sent off at Northampton.
New loan signing Simon Whaley could make his first start for Bradford.
The Norwich winger, who arrived on loan at Valley Parade until January 2, stepped off the substitutes' bench in the 63rd minute of Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Accrington and will be hoping to play a bigger role at Blundell Park.
Manager Stuart McCall has no new injury or suspension problems, while striker Michael Boulding is also in contention to start after recovering from a mystery virus.
Boulding also appeared as a second-half substitute on Saturday, but McCall is not expecting any of his long-term absentees to return, with forwards Peter Thorne (hamstring) and Leon Osborne (ankle) and winger Omar Daley (knee) all still sidelined.
