Sunday night's Spanish Super Cup first leg between Barcelona and Real Madrid was dominated by Cristiano Ronaldo - and he was only on the pitch for 30 minutes. It took 22 minutes for the Portuguese to make his mark after replacing Karim Benzema by scoring a sensational goal from long range.Ronaldo cut inside past Gerard Pique to lash a thunderous strike beyond Marc-Andre ter Stegen's reach into the top-right corner. His goal gave Real a 2-1 lead just three minutes after Lionel Messi had equalised from the penalty spot.It was all downhill for Ronaldo from there, though. The 32-year-old received two yellow cards within the space of two minutes - one for taking his shirt off and another for simulation - to get sent off at the Camp Nou.Referee Ricardo de Burgos was in no doubt that Ronaldo deserved to be shown red, but what happened next was nothing less than shocking.Ronaldo, rather stupidly, risked further punishment by pushing Burgos in the back as he walked away.A ban between four and 12 games has since been rumoured for the Portugal international, but his fate has now been revealed.According to the Daily Mail, Ronaldo has been handed a five-match ban that will see him miss four La Liga games and the second leg of the Super Cup against Barcelona.Further more, Ronaldo has been fined a meagre €3,000 (£2,700) for pushing the referee, which is both ridiculous and pointless. He earns approximately €400,000-per-week at Real, meaning he will earn back that amount in roughly 28 minutes.Fans certainly can't believe Ronaldo has been fined such a small and insignificant amount (for a footballer), as you can see in the Twitter reaction below.

Let's just hope Ronaldo has learned his lesson after being fined such an extortionate amount.
