The moment that fans have been waiting years for finally took place on Monday Night as Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins finally reunited on RAW.

The two former Shield brothers have spent the last few weeks in the awkward situation as Rollins was trying to rehabilitate their relationship.

A long awaited reunion

Rollins seemingly won Ambrose over last week when the Lunatic Fringe extended his fist in a show of unity but Rollins would then turn his back on Ambrose.

Unsurprisingly, Ambrose wanted answers on Monday night and began the show by demanding Rollins explain his actions.

The two former brothers would share the ring as they would go back and forth between wanting to team up again and actually coming to blows.

It would take the arrival of the RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro to bring a resolution to the situation.

After Ambrose and Rollins decided that it would never work between them again, the two came to blow and even brawl outside of the ring.

That would be the opportunity that the Champions needed as they both came to the ring to assault the former brothers.

Ambrose and Rollins would actually get the better of the Champions however before finally joining each other in their familiar fist bump pose.

Sending the big message to the WWE Universe that the two have combined to make one very imposing team on RAW.

a BIG CHANCE

Following their altercation with Rollins and Ambrose, the RAW Tag Team Champions would make their way back up the ramp when they were intercepted by the RAW General Manager Kurt Angle.

Angle appeared on the stage and revealed that Sheamus and Cesaro will have to defend their titles against the new team of Rollins and Ambrose.

Fans were ecstatic to hear the news and will now surely be hoping to see them win the titles on Sunday.

New champions emerging

Ahead of Summer Slam, fans are very aware that the title reign of Sheamus and Cesaro is set to come to an end.

Sheamus is due to depart from WWE for some time to film an outside project which means that new RAW Tag Team Champions will need to be crowned.

Fans will be hoping that Ambrose and Rollins are the ones to dethrone them and with Summer Slam just days away, they could be less than a week from seeing what they want.
