Monday Night RAW ring announcer JoJo Offerman was noticeably absent from last night's (Mon. August 14, 2017) episode in Boston, and for the most tragic of reasons.
Offerman got her start in the industry back in 2013 after being announced as a cast member for WWE's E! reality show, Total Divas, in which the Divas of WWE were followed around during their day-to-day lives, capturing all the drama that entails being a WWE Superstar on camera. Offerman finally made her main roster debut on WWE's Main Event show as the singer for Tons Of Funk's theme song, alongside The Funkadactyls (current SmackDown Live Women's Champion Naomi and the now departed Cameron). She showed off her singing skills even more when she was given the opportunity to sing The United States' National Anthem at SummerSlam that year.
She held off on in-ring competition for a while, instead serving as a supporter to her fellow Total Divas cast members as they performed. JoJo finally made her in-ring debut that October as she teamed up with Natalya and the recently departed Eva Marie to defeat the team of Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, and Aksana, however, she was never tagged into the match and did not wrestle.

Offerman finally competed inside the ring on the post-Survivor Series episode of RAW in which she pinned and eliminated Tamina Snuka from an Elimination Tag Team Match she was competing in. She moved back to NXT, WWE's developmental territory, late in 2013 and it was announced that she would not be returning as a cast member on Total Divas.
After getting her feet wet as a ring announcer in NXT she was promoted to the main roster again in April of 2015 where she worked as the announcer for Main Event and SmackDown Live.

Currently, Offerman serves as the announcer for WWE Superstars, Monday Night RAW, pay-per-views (PPVs), as well as a backstage interviewer. During last night's RAW, however, many fans noticed that JoJo was not present for her ring announcing duties in Boston. Per a statement from her official fansite, JoJo missed RAW due to the passing of her sister:
"JoJo will not be working tonight's episode of RAW as she has been sent home from Boston. This is due to her sister, Gigi, passing away. It is with our deepest sympathies that we send our condolences to JoJo and her family. They are in our thoughts."
