There may still be six months until the event, but some eyes within the WWE have already began to look ahead to WrestleMania 34.

One man already anticipating a big night in New Orleans is United States Champion AJ Styles.

A phenomenal night?

WrestleMania will be coming to New Orleans for the second time in four years and if Styles has his way, it will have a huge main event.

Styles recently spoke about WrestleMania and when asked about who he would like to face, he mentioned several current superstars, but picked one out as his dream opponent.

Shinsuke Nakamura, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins all got mentions from Styles, as did one of the men challenging for the Universal title this Sunday, Roman Reigns.

Any of those matches would certainly draw in a crowd, but Styles narrowed it down to just one.

"I'm picking Shinsuke. Sorry, that's nothing on Finn Balor."

Styles claimed that he would love a match in the main event of WrestleMania against the man who this Sunday at Summer Slam will challenge Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship.

Styles claimed that the main reason he picked Nakamura was because they are both Smackdown superstars, while the others are on RAW.

Fans were given a sneak preview of Styles vs Nakamura during the Money in the Bank ladder match where the two clashed while every other competitor was down.

The crowd in St Louis were excited to see the two fight that night and what is expected to be a sell out crowd in New Orleans would surely be happy to see them come to blows again at WrestleMania.

Both men joined WWE early last year when they made the move from New Japan Pro Wrestling and it goes without saying that they have a lot of history.

Styles claimed to be hoping that Nakamura wins the title at Summer Slam so that the Phenomenal one can face him for it at Summer Slam, but who is to say that either man will remain on the blue brand until WrestleMania.

Change coming?

Following WrestleMania earlier this year, the WWE hosted a Superstar shake up in which several trades were made between RAW and Smackdown.

Ever since, rumours have circulated about a possible second shake up of the rosters with some speculating that there may be one more before WrestleMania next year.

If Styles wants WrestleMania matches against the likes of Finn Balor and Seth Rollins, it could one day be on the horizon.
