Prijovic set for Danish move

Derby are prepared to let reserve-team striker Aleksander Prijovic leave the club.

The 19-year-old has yet to make the breakthrough into the senior set-up at Pride Park and faces stiff competition for a place in Nigel Clough's first-team plans from the likes of Kris Commons, Steve Davies, Rob Hulse, Chris Porter and Paul Dickov.

A move could be edging closer after he spent last week with Danish league leaders OB Odense and scored during a trial match.

"They are very interested in taking him in January so we are just trying to get a deal done if they want to do one," said Clough.

"If not, we will probably look to get him out on loan. If we can do it before the deadline, we will do. If not, in January."
