Jinder Mahal proved to be one of the most sly WWE Champions of all time this past Tuesday on SmackDown Live.Mahal was initially released from WWE back in 2014, forcing the former Three Man Band (3MB) member to return to the independent circuit and reinvent himself. After a few years working in Texas, Mahal was resigned to the company where he returned on an episode of Monday Night RAW and defeated former fellow 3MB member Heath Slater for a contract with the brand. After a brief program with Rusev, Mahal was moved to SmackDown Live where he won a Six Pack Challenge to earn himself the new No. 1-contender's spot for Randy Orton's WWE Championship."The Modern Day Maharaja" would go on to defeat "The Viper" at Backlash to win his first ever WWE Championship, which included back-to-back title defenses against Orton at Money In The Bank and Battleground inside the Punjabi Prison. He is currently scheduled to defend his WWE Championship at SummerSlam against new No. 1-contender Shinsuke Nakamura, who defeated John Cena to earn the coveted position at the WWE's ultimate prize.Cena and Mahal recently went one-on-one in the main event of SmackDown Live this past Tuesday, however, they were interrupted by Mr. Money In The Bank Baron Corbin who attacked both men with his briefcase.Corbin then cashed in his contract, however, after a brief distraction from John Cena, Mahal was able to capitalize and score a rollup pinfall victory on "The Lone Wolf," ending his reign as Mr. Money In The Bank and pulling his golden opportunity right out from under him. While Corbin was furious after the match and destroyed an announce table after losing his golden ticket to the top of the WWE mountain, there may still be some hope for Corbin's WWE Title aspirations.Fans recently took to Twitter to reveal some photos that they took of the match, showing that Mahal's foot was clearly under the rope, thus resulting in what should have been a rope break from the pin:

What are your thoughts on Mahal's foot being under the rope while he pinned Corbin? Will Corbin be reissued his briefcase? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
