Nicky Shorey will make his Nottingham Forest debut when Doncaster visit the City Ground.
The 28-year-old has joined Billy Davies' side on loan from Aston Villa until the end of December and will replace the suspended Chris Cohen at left-back.
Cohen must serve a one-match ban after he was booked for the fifth time this season in the 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough.
Dexter Blackstock is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up after a full week of training. The striker made his comeback from a month out with a knee injury with a late substitute appearance at the Riverside Stadium.
The match has seen Forest join forces with Doncaster to launch a ground-breaking scheme designed to integrate opposition supporters and attract more families to football. Fans of both clubs will sit in a section of the Brian Clough Stand.
Doncaster skipper Martin Woods and defenders Adam Lockwood and Byron Webster are expected to return to Sean O'Driscoll's squad for the clash.
Woods missed out last week through suspension while the central defensive pair have been sidelined long-term, Lockwood since late September due to two fractured bones in his foot and Webster since early October with a shoulder injury.
On-loan Wolves defender Jason Shackell, another centre-half, stepped off the bench in last Saturday's 2-0 home win over QPR following a groin injury and could return to the starting line-up.
O'Driscoll will be reluctant to make changes after his side turned in their best display of the season last week.
Full-back James O'Connor filled in at centre-half, but O'Driscoll could be tempted to recall one of his specialists.
