Fitz Hall returns to the QPR squad for the visit of Coventry.

The centre-half missed last weekend's defeat at Doncaster with a back injury but came through a midweek reserve outing in one piece and could go straight back into the starting line-up.

Boss Jim Magilton could make further changes with Adel Taarabt and Gary Borrowdale pushing for recalls following the surprise 2-0 reverse.

Strikers Rowan Vine (hernia) and Angelo Balanta (groin) are close to returning and winger Lee Cook (knee) has stepped up his training and could be back before Christmas.

But Gavin Mahon and Martin Rowlands are long-term absentees with knee injuries and fellow midfielder Hogan Ephraim has joined League One leaders Leeds on a month's loan.

Coventry's treatment room is a much quieter place than it has been in recent weeks ahead of the trip.

The Sky Blues have been ravaged by injury of late but only centre-back Ben Turner (ankle) and left-back Marcus Hall (calf) are sidelined, along with long-term absentee Sammy Clingan (broken toe).

Hall hopes to return to training next week, though, while Clingan is also looking to make his comeback sooner rather than later having been sidelined since the start of October.

Goalkeeper Keiren Westwood overcame a back injury to start last weekend's 1-1 draw at home to Crystal Palace while captain Stephen Wright shook off the effects of flu, and both are available once again.

Midfielder Isaac Osbourne has recovered from the knee injury which ruled him out of the encounter at the Ricoh Arena, and teenage defender Jordan Clarke also returns after serving a one-match ban.
