The latest buzz around the Women's division in the WWE is that of the possible addition of UFC fighter Ronda Rousey.
It has been reported that Rowdy is training with Brian Kendrick in preparation for her eventual WWE debut, a career direction many believed she would go in following her defeat in the main event of UFC 207 back in December 2016 to Amanda Nunes.
It has also been rumored that the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion's first feud in WWE will be with the rest of the MMA Four Horsewomen of Marina Shafir, Shayna Baszler, and Jessamyn Duke, against WWE's own Four Horsewomen of Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch.

Speculation has also suggested that the likely stage where this angle will be shot is the Mae Young Classic live final in September later this year and that it could be building towards a match at Survivor Series. However, according to reports, this isn't the only direction WWE has for Rousey.
According to Ringside News, Dave Meltzer said on the latest installment of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Ronda could also be used in a singles match at WrestleMania 34 next year in New Orleans.
Ringside News also stated that WWE's original plan for Rousey was to have her face Stephanie McMahon in a singles match after she alongside The Rock forced Stephanie and Triple H out of the ring at WrestleMania 31 in 2015.
They noted at that time when the angle went down, women in the company were treated as third-class performers, so this was the best booking direction for Rowdy and her status within the division. However, as we know, WWE now has many top female superstars, so this is no longer the case.
If the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion is to be booked for WrestleMania 34 next year will most likely face either Stephanie, or one of WWE's own Four Horsewomen of Flair, Banks, Bayley, or Lynch. Charlotte is most probably the favorite to get the nod out of the bunch because of her heritage in the company but we'll just have to wait and see.
