This past week on Monday Night RAW, Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt had their SummerSlam match brought forward to the show by the red brand's general manager Kurt Angle.

The Eater of Worlds managed to pin the former Universal Champion for the victory, and after the match, he continued to humiliate Balor by pouring a bucket of blood all over him in the middle of the ring.

During a post-match interview backstage, Balor revealed that Wyatt had made a mistake and that The Demon would be released to get revenge on him at SummerSlam. Another match between these two was then announced but this time, Finn Balor will unleash The Demon King.

Originally, The Demon King announced The Demon wouldn't be making an appearance at WWE's biggest party of the summer this year as he didn't feel the need to tap into that energy to give him the edge in this match. Obviously, that has now changed.

What fans have noticed though is this will be the first time Balor has used the Demon gimmick and face paint since he returned from a shoulder injury which he picked up at last year's SummerSlam against Seth Rollins, which was also the last time he used the gimmick.

According to Cageside Seats, Balor and WWE officials are finally bringing back The Demon King for the biggest party of the summer because they want to feature the persona as something special for Balor, rather than having it on TV all the time.

With this in mind, fans should only expect The Demon King to make appearances during big matches for the former Universal Champion in the future, and when it does show up, fans should expect Balor to win the match he is involved in.

Balor is currently the favourite to win this match against Wyatt at SummerSlam this Sunday, and hopefully, this continues the feud between the two on RAW to conclude at No Mercy in September, with WWE utilizing each superstar's dark gimmick to the greatest extent.
