Stockport boss Gary Ablett has been given a much-needed boost ahead of the visit of Swindon with the news that strikers Nicholas Bignall and Oli Johnson are both available to feature.
The pair have missed County's last two games with their respective hamstring and calf problems, but were given the green light to play before Saturday's FA Cup match against Torquay was called off.
Ablett could put Bignall and Johnson straight into the starting line-up as he knows he needs to shake things up following six League One defeats on the trot.
Midfielder David Poole is rated as doubtful because of illness.
After seeing their match at the weekend called off because of a waterlogged pitch, County will be hoping the same does not happen on Tuesday as they face a pitch inspection at 9am.
Swindon boss Danny Wilson is able to welcome back Charlie Austin and Alex Revell.
Austin missed Town's testing 1-0 triumph over non-league Wrexham at the weekend as he was cup-tied, while fellow striker Alex Revell was ineligible as a result of the terms of his loan deal.
Austin should regain his place in Wilson's starting XI having grabbed two winning goals in two games prior to his enforced omission, partnering Billy Paynter in attack.
New loan signing Alan Sheehan is in line to make his league debut having started against the Dragons, while fellow new boy Danny Ward will hope to be involved for the first time having missed out on Saturday.
Alan O'Brien is likely to find himself on the bench again having come on for the final 25 minutes at the Racecourse Ground to make his first appearance in three months after hamstring trouble.
