The Texas Rattlesnake gives praise to superstars involved in three WWE SummerSlam matches

SummerSlam is officially in the books and it was arguably an event that was very average except for the main event which literally saved WWE's second biggest pay-per-view of the year from being completely mediocre.Although WWE's biggest party of the summer had many title changes as five champions lost their titles to their respective challengers at the event, the show overall has reviewed mixed reviews from fans and critics alike.Some matches on the card, like the Fatal 4-Way between Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, was outstanding, whilst other matches, like the WWE Championship between Jinder Mahal and Shinsuke Nakamura, was terrible.

Stone Cold Steve Austin gave his verdict on some of the matches at this year's SummerSlam, starting off with the RAW Tag Team Title match between Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Sheamus & Cesaro.

Ambrose and Rollins came out on top in that match to become the new RAW Tag Team Champions. The match itself also included a funny spot of Cesaro going into the crowd and destroying the beach ball. Stone Cold used only four words to describe this match.

Austin also enjoyed the interactions between AJ Styles, Shane McMahon, and Kevin Owens during the United States Championship match.

Like everybody else, The Texas Rattlesnake loved the main event of SummerSlam too between Lesnar, Strowman, Joe, and Reigns.

There were some great matches at SummerSlam last night, most of them highlighted by Stone Cold. However, most of the card was filled with matches that didn't live up to the standard many fans watching expected, and this ultimately brought the overall rating of the pay-per-view down.

The Fatal 4-Way for the Universal Championship certainly was the highlight of WWE's biggest party of the summer, especially the performance by Strowman that should prove to the doubters that he deserves to have a run as Universal Champion. Hopefully, we're not waiting too long for this to happen.
