The Houston Rockets will have one of the league's most mouthwatering backcourts next season after they acquired Chris Paul from the Los Angeles Clippers. The point guard will share the floor with James Harden and the All-Star duo are sure to cause many problems for opposing guards. Many have raised doubts about whether the two dominant handlers can co-exist on the same team, but they have dismissed that notion and believe that playing off the ball more will benefit them both. CP3 was the sole playmaker for the Clippers and had the responsibility of making sure his teammates got enough shots as well as creating scoring opportunities for himself. Harden led the league in assists last year but he almost exclusively had the ball in his hands and it worked against him as fatigue got the better of him the playoffs against the San Antonio Spurs. Rockets fans are certainly looking forward to seeing their star-studded backcourt at the Toyota Center when the season tips off in October, but some lucky fans were able to get a glimpse of it over the weekend. The Beard was hosting a charity game on Sunday and took to the floor with his new teammate. The Houston duo were clearly enjoying playing together and were able to produce one stunning highlight play in particular. They had the crowd on their feet and in raptures after Harden threw a lob pass to Paul who threw down a two-handed dunk. Many would have expected it to be the other around, with CP throwing a lob to Harden, but as we've seen recently, the former Clippers star has shown he has some hops. The 32-year-old posted a brilliant video onto social media where he finished an alley-oop after receiving a lob from his son.

The nine-time All-Star is not known for getting up like that but this could possibly be something we see regularly next year.

After throwing so many lobs to DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin in L.A., who can blame him for wanting to finally be the recipient for once.

The exhibition game also included other stars such as John Wall, DeMar DeRozan and Clint Capela.

With Mike D'Antoni's offensive style of basketball, we will see a lot of high-scoring games featuring the Rockets and with two of the best passers in the league at their disposal, they will no problems racking up the assists.
