John Cena was back at it again on Monday Night Raw.As seen on Monday’s post-SummerSlam show edition of Raw in Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the former WWE Champion made his return to the red brand after being put on SmackDown Live last July as part of the Superstar Shakeup. While on that brand, he had major feuds with the likes of Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, The Miz and many more. For the last few months, WWE has not made it a secret of Cena being a “Free Agent” or the fact that he was coming to the red brand. He is scheduled for his first Raw pay-per-view since the Draft last year with WWE No Mercy at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, September 24th.Also, WWE is advertising a first-time ever match involving Cena and Samoa Joe for the Raw TV event on September 4th in Omaha, Nebraska as well as several other WWE live events.WWE Hall of Famer and Raw General Manager Kurt Angle introduced Cena to the live crowd as well as those watching at home on the show. He cut a promo about being back on Raw. This led to Roman Reigns walking out and teasing a brawl with Cena. The Miz came out next alongside his wife Maryse, Curtis Axel, and Bo Dallas. Miz cut a promo on Cena about how Cena can do whatever he wants and that he doesn’t get the type of respect he would like. This led to Cena acting like a small child as seen below:

Eventually, Samoa Joe came down to the ring, which set up the main event of the show. Cena and Reigns teamed up to defeat Miz and Joe in a tag team match to send the fans home happy. After the show, Cena spoke to the crowd and said he was glad they had fun with the wave and the beach ball.
