LeBron James is a once in a generation talent, but it takes more than genetics and natural talent to be one of the greatest NBA players of all-time,

Sometimes it's easy to forget about the hard work athletes on King James' level put in, but LeBron has been very public about his focus on training all summer. Instragram videos and stories have been pouring in from James, and it's clear he's not taking his foot off the pedal yet.

James, who turns 33 in December, looks as focused and fit as ever. His offseason rampage began on the day when he revealed he shaved his head by sharing a glimpse of a workout on the morning of the Golden State Warriors' parade. It's only continued from there.

Among the random individual workouts was a Las Vegas getaway, where the likes of Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook and Eric Bledsoe pow wowed with James to hit the gym hard together. Self improvement has been the clear story of LeBron's summer.

Those close to James say he's been "obsessed" with his offseason workouts, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN. There's no shortage of motivation for him to pull from this summer. with Kyrie Irving asking to be traded away from LeBron, and a lopsided NBA Finals series against the Warriors to set his targets on.

A quick glimpse of LeBron's Instagram shows plenty of workout footage. It's clear King James isn't resting in his kingdom, still pushing himself to be at the top of his game. Considering how much the NBA has shifted this summer, the Cavaliers need all they can from LeBron.

James physical profile has gone through a shift over the last decade, slimming down from being a bulky bruiser. He's seemingly continued to run with that, getting himself a leaned-out, ripped physique that should help him play the best 48 minutes of basketball he can.

There's no doubt the Cavaliers will lean on him more than ever with Irving out of the picture. Isaiah Thomas may fill some of the ball-handling and shot-creation duties, but Irving was other-worldly in that department. It's fair to expect a heavy dose of LeBron from Cleveland, especially early in the season while the team is still figuring things out together.

Considering James is coming off of one of his best seasons ever, there's little reason to think the King is ready to decline just yet. He's continuing to refine his game to stay at the top as long as possible, and whispers that LeBron's been "obsessed" with his workouts this summer is only more fuel on what's apparently a blazing fire.
