Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore could make changes for Burton's visit to the Don Valley Stadium.

The Millers put in a below-par performance against Shrewsbury during the week, losing 2-0 at the Prostar Stadium.

Despite having no fresh injury concerns or suspensions after the defeat, Moore could shake things up as he looks for a response from his team.

One such change could be the inclusion of central midfielder Micky Cummins.

Cummins had been ruled out with a groin problem but has now returned to training and is available.

However, the Millers will still be without Paul Warne (ankle), Dale Tonge (foot) and Andy Liddell (Achilles), who are still a few weeks away from a return to the first team.

Burton have been hit by the news Ryan Austin will miss the rest of the season.

Austin had been an ever-present for the Brewers but snapped the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during last weekend's FA Cup defeat at Gillingham.

The 25-year-old defender will have an operation next week, ruling him out of a return until pre-season 2010.

Meanwhile, club captain Darren Stride is set for a rare start as one of several possible changes for Albion.

The veteran defender is in line for only his third start of the season as Guy Branston must serve a one-match suspension after collecting his fifth yellow card this term in the midweek defeat by Accrington.

Boss Paul Peschisolido is contemplating more changes after describing the 2-0 reverse against Stanley as a "shambles".

"We got bullied by a team of kids and it just wasn't acceptable against a team with an average age of 21," said the Canadian. "I could change 11 players for Saturday after that performance because it was that bad.

"Things need to be shaken up and changes need to be made. I've said all along I expected to make full use of my squad during the course of the season and perhaps we are arriving at the point where players who have been on the fringes need to be given a chance."

Midfielders Jacques Maghoma, Keith Gilroy and Keiron Cadogan and striker Greg Pearson are among those players who could be recalled.
