Johnson: No problem with Keane

Bristol City manager Gary Johnson has played down talk of a rift between him and Roy Keane.

Johnson's men host Keane's Ipswich at Ashton Gate on Saturday, the first time the two managers have come face-to-face since a well-publicised spat in the summer.

"It was something of nothing in the summer," Johnson told his club's official website. "It must have been one of Roy's dodgy days because he snapped at me. But I've got no problems with him or history, and I'm sure we'll shake hands at the end of the game."

Keane told Johnson to "mind his own business" as the pair vied for the signing of Lee Martin, a race that Keane would eventually win.
