With Conor McGregor set to fight Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas on Saturday, many fans are eager to see what Conor can do against the undefeated Mayweather in a boxing ring.

Fans of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be hoping McGregor can knockout the undefeated Mayweather on the biggest stage.

Fans can now get a glimpse of what to expect as a video of an 18-year-old McGregor has surfaced online, showing the Irishman in an amateur boxing bout against Ciaran Campbell.

The fight was known as Ring of Truth six and took place on February 17, 2007, at Dublin's Ringside Boxing Club, with McGregor scoring a TKO victory.

In the footage, McGregor can be seen using his Southpaw stance and connecting with his now widely recognised fast hands to his opponent.

At one stage in the fight, the Irishman ducks a punch from his opponent, then unleashes a devastating counter jab which knocks his opponent to the floor. Where have we seen that before?

McGregor continued the onslaught until the referee had little choice but to step in and stop the fight, at which point McGregor began to showboat show off to an applauding crowd.

You can certainly see that, even back in 2007, McGregor knew exactly how to entertain an audience.

It is worth noting his opponent that night, Campbell, did not pursue a career in fighting after this bout.

This new video gives fans a glimpse at the potential McGregor has shown from an early stage and they will be plenty of loyal supporters hoping he can cause a huge upset against Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas on Saturday night to complete an incredible rise.
