Norwich manager Paul Lambert had words of praise for all his players after their two star names had once again grabbed the limelight in a 2-0 win over Oldham.
Grant Holt and Wes Hoolahan scored the first-half goals that guided the high-flying Canaries to a straightforward victory, their sixth home win on the trot.
``I think some of the football we played was absolutely brilliant, especially in the first half,'' he said. ``I have got a great group of lads who work hard for each other and all of them contributed. It's a team game."
He added: ``The lads up top will get all the plaudits but I could praise any single one of them after that.''
Lambert is understandably delighted to have players of the calibre of Holt, Hoolahan and Chris Martin in the side and is determined to keep hold of them once the January transfer window opens.
``Wes Hoolahan was a different class, he's a tremendous little player and at times he was unplayable. I managed him at the start of his career when I was up in Scotland with Livingston and the progress he has made since then has been amazing.
``Grant Holt is a typical British centre-forward who has scored 19 goals for us this season and Chris Martin is a promising young player who is a great finisher.
``They're all good players and as far as I'm concerned they won't be going anywhere next month. I'm not stupid; I don't want to lose players like that. Players at the top of their game are always going to attract attention but there's no way I'd want to sell them. I don't think the fans would take too kindly to that.''
Oldham manager Dave Penney admitted his side had faced an uphill battle against the form team in League One.
``This is a really tough place to come to, there's no doubt about that, and we were hanging on at times'' he admitted. ``You can certainly see why they're doing so well and I'm sure they will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season."
