You’d be forgiven for staying away from Enzo Amore’s Twitter account, as it doesn’t look like the sanest of places compared to other WWE stars - but that's part of his appeal.

If you are a keen follower, though, then you’d know that he was certainly excited about the super fight featuring Floyd Mayweather Jr and the UFC’s Conor McGregor.

SUPER FIGHT

In fact, Enzo was perhaps the most vocal star on the roster in the build-up to this fight and wasted no opportunity in throwing shade at the Notorious – showcasing his loyal support for Mayweather.

So, Enzo would have been ecstatic in the 10th round inside of the T-Mobile Arena when Mayweather picked up a TKO victory over the outspoken Irishman to retire with a perfect record of 50-0, and he made his feelings clear on Instagram before, during and after the fight.

Enzo stuck out like a sore thumb when he was amongst the sea of fans turning up to watch the collision, taking pictures with celebrities ranging from Jeremy Piven to Jamie Foxx and even uploaded a video claiming there’s only one Notorious and he was big, not 175-pounds.

It’s difficult to determine whether Enzo is a hard core Mayweather fan, or he genuinely dislikes McGregor because of certain comments he made last year about the WWE and its roster.

Even WWE got involved by documenting what Enzo did, splashing out a ridiculous $10,000 for his ticket to watch Mayweather emerge victorious, and it prompted a hilarious response from Kevin Owens.

OWENS' REACTION

The former Universal Champion is known for trolling both WWE stars and fans on his Twitter account, where he’s often seen destroying online hecklers and going on blocking sprees and this time, Enzo was his target after he found out that Enzo spent 10 big ones on a floor seat and by the looks of things, he wasn’t too impressed.

Owens directed his response to WWE after they highlighted Enzo’s big-money purchase, showing off a package of chicken breast he purchased for under $7.

He tweeted: “Hey, look! I made a better decision than Enzo did today. @WWE.”

While Enzo is free to do whatever he pleases with his money, it sounds like Owens believes it was a waste – and it seems like Amore must be having some pretty good merchandise sales after his recent woes.

It was probably a good escape for him, considering his struggles in WWE regarding backstage heat have been well documented online, along with a recent move to 205 Live.
