All hell has broke loose at Arsenal.

Sunday's 4-0 defeat against Liverpool served as further embarrassment for the Gunners and their under-fire manager, Arsene Wenger, who only signed a two-year extension in May.

The #WengerOut brigade is now once again in full swing and there are fears the worst could be yet to come.

Just two days remain of the summer transfer window yet Arsenal, incredibly, are set to lose three important players: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez.

According to BBC Sport, Oxlade-Chamberlain is close to joining Chelsea for £35 million after growing frustrated with playing at wing-back.

As for Mustafi, the Germany international is on the verge of completing a season-long loan to Inter Milan in Serie A.

This is despite only joining Arsenal from Valencia last summer.

And then there's Sanchez. According to the Mirror's John Cross, Manchester City have stepped up their pursuit to sign the Chilean before August 31's deadline.

Cross claims the Citizens have offered Arsenal a player-plus-cash deal for Sanchez that would see Raheem Sterling head in the opposite direction.

Quite how much money is involved is unknown.

These are worrying times for Arsenal fans and now news is emerging from Chile that Sanchez has taken action while on international duty.

According to TV13, as relayed by the Mirror, Sanchez has asked permission to leave the Chile camp to 'conduct personal business'.

One can only assume the 28-year-old wants to sort out his future as the end of the transfer window looms.

Sanchez's supposed desire to leave Arsenal for City is hardly surprising, as Thierry Henry explained following the club's 4-0 humbling at Anfield.

"I wanted to leave [Anfield]. I don't relate with this team," said the Frenchman on Sky Sports. "I am not surprised. I was expecting this. Stagnation.

"I knew what was going to happen today. But still when you see it you're like, no, not again! The way Arsenal lose the game is the problem.

"We are talking about desire, commitment. Have a go. The team I arrived into could fight. These guys? It is painful. As a fan, you try to be positive, but it’s not nice to see."
