Another Hazard brother was added to the Chelsea clan on Monday when the club confirmed the arrival of Kylian Hazard.

The 22-year-old, brother of Eden and Thorgan, will join Chelsea’s development squad after signing from Hungarian side Ujpest.

And while Thorgan is no longer at the club, signing for Borussia Monchengladbach in 2015, Eden has achieved great success at Stamford Bridge.

Whether Kylian can go on to match his eldest brother remains to be seen but he shouldn’t struggle to settle in given the presence of Eden.

And if it doesn’t work out for Kylian at Stamford Bridge, there’s another Hazard brother, 14-year-old Ethan, who plays in the youth academy of Eden’s first club, waiting in the wings.

Eden reacted to Kylian’s move by posting a lovely message on Instagram featuring an image of all three Hazard brothers at Chelsea.

“Always knew we had a good team! Hazard FC has come a long way since then! Welcome to London little bro!,” the 26-year-old wrote.

Eden could play for Belgium

Eden Hazard is yet to play for Chelsea this season after a lengthy recovery from ankle surgery.

Yet the winger has joined up with the Belgium national squad ahead of their World Cup qualifiers and manager Roberto Martinez says there is a “great possibility” that he could play against Gibraltar on Thursday.

“Where Eden is is that every day we get a bit more information,” Martinez said, per the Evening Standard. “That’s how we’re going to treat the situation.

“Eden played a game that was very, very important for me to see if he was going to be available. He came through against Everton U23s really well. He played over 70 minutes, you could see he was growing into the game.

“That gave us a lot of information. When you are at club level and you work with a player who is coming back from injury you need to be a little bit cautious.

“But it is normal that when you see a player on the pitch you can make better decisions.

“If you were going to ask me ‘would he be available for the Gibraltar game’ I would consider that he has got a great possibility.”
