Crewe boss Dario Gradi believes top scorer Calvin Zola will be targeted by other clubs in the January transfer window.

Championship side Peterborough have already been linked with the 24-year-old frontman, who has 13 goals already in the current campaign.

"Calvin has no great record of scoring goals, but he's scoring them this season," Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke. "He's been running towards their goal, more than facing towards ours. If people want that type of player, I think he's a decent bet."

Zola cost the Railwaymen £200,000 from then League One rivals Tranmere in July 2008, but scored just six times in his first season at the Alexandra Stadium as the team were relegated to the bottom tier of the Football League.
