There’s just 12 hours remaining of the transfer window and Liverpool are still looking to wrap up several deals.Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks set to complete his move from Arsenal in a £35 million move but Jurgen Klopp is still trying to sign both Thomas Lemar and Virgil van Dijk before 11pm.While Southampton have insisted they’re “99.9% certain” that Van Dijk will remain at the club, it seems there is more chance of the Reds landing Lemar.Initial reports suggested that Liverpool would sign Oxlade-Chamberlain OR Lemar but it appears the club are now pursuing both.While the Oxlade-Chamberlain deal will be completed by dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s, the chances of landing Lemar seem far slimmer.With the 21-year-old set to play for France against Netherlands in a World Cup qualifier tonight, Liverpool are quickly running out of time.

Who Lemar wants to sign for

However, there’s some hope for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

According to Goal, Lemar has “vocalised his desire to play for Jurgen Klopp to the Ligue 1 champions.”

With the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona also reportedly keen on the winger, Liverpool certainly face competition for his signature - but it seems Lemar has his heart on a move to Anfield.

However, convincing Monaco to sell yet another star player could prove difficult after they have already lost Benjamin Mendy, Bernardo Silva, Tiemoue Bakayoko and look set to lose Kylian Mbappe to Paris Saint-Germain.

It’s believed that Monaco remained reluctant to sell him but could cave in if Liverpool submit a massive offer.

Sky Sports report that Monaco would find it hard to turn down an offer of £92 million.
