Ipswich manager Roy Keane is waiting on the fitness of Lee Martin ahead of Blackpool's visit to Portman Road.
Martin missed the Tractor Boys' 0-0 draw against basement club Peterborough on Tuesday evening with a damaged heel, which also ruled him out of last weekend's stalemate with Bristol City.
The talented winger remains doubtful for the visit of the Seasiders and could join Alex Bruce on the sidelines.
Centre-half Bruce continues to struggle with a groin injury and manager Roy Keane will also be without long-term absentees Richard Wright and Luciano Civelli, who are both out with damaged cruciate ligaments.
However, David Norris is close to returning to first-team action. The 28-year-old has been ruled out with a knee injury but is nearing a return to full fitness.
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway will recall first-choice goalkeeper Matt Gilks to the starting line-up.
Paul Rachubka came in from the cold to enjoy a fine game in Wednesday's thumping 3-0 win against Middlesbrough but he will be back on the bench in Suffolk.
Holloway explained: "Paul needed a game but Gilks will be back in goal because he has done nothing wrong."
Holloway made five changes to his starting line-up at the Riverside Stadium and midfielder Gary Taylor-Fletcher looks certain to retain his place after scoring twice.
An eye injury forced defender Rob Edwards to make an early exit against Boro and he could miss out along with strikers Ben Burgess and Billy Clarke (both knee).
