The MK Dons earned a deserved 2-1 win at Leyton Orient after substitute Dean Morgan and midfielder Nigel Quashie scored late goals to overturn a half-time deficit.

Rash challenges on Orient's lively left-winger Andros Townsend resulted in two yellow cards for MK defenders in the opening 16 minutes, putting the visitors under pressure.

And following the second card, unmarked striker Scott McGleish met Sean Thornton's free kick to head the Londoners in front after 17 minutes.

McGleish was close to a second on the half-hour when his shot grazed a post.

Dons' keeper Willy Gueret foiled McGleish in a second half one-on-one and had to receive treatment before the visitors responded with pressure which was marred by poor finishing.

That was until Morgan - who played 18 games on loan for Orient last season - drove home from the edge of the area after 75 minutes, before Quashie did the same three minutes from time.

There was still time for Thornton to hit an MK Dons post, too, but Orient could not come back.
