England managed to go five points clear with just two games left to play in World Cup qualifying thanks to a 2-1 victory over Slovakia at Wembley on Monday night.England are in a commanding place to book their place in Russia next summer and thanks to goals from Eric Dier and Man of the Match Marcus Rashford, they defeated their nearest rivals in the Group F.However, things didn't start so smoothly for the Three Lions on Monday night when Slovakia took an early lead through Celta Vigo man Stanislav Lobotka in the third minute. In fact, it was Manchester United man Rashford that gave the ball away in his own half and was immediately punished by a lightning quick counter attack. As we know, Rashford would go on to make amends for his error by eventually firing home the winner, a quality low drive from just outside the box and would be substituted to a standing ovation late in the game. That's two assists and one goal for Rashford during the international break and the 19-year-old and he looks to be one of England's brightest hopes. After the game, Rashford and fellow goalscorer Dier took an interview with ITV. When asked about the teenager's performance, Dier had a hilarious response: "It wasn't so good to begin with but it got better!"Watch the video below for the full interview:

Gareth Southgate's men will finish up the group with Slovenia at Wembley and then Lithuania next months and Scotland will be praying that England can continue to do them some favours like they did last night.

The Scots have both Slovakia and Slovenia in their last two games and know that if they win both games, they will finish second in the group and secure their place in the playoffs.

Rashford will now head back to Manchester to prepare for the Red Devils' game against Stoke at the weekend. If Kylian Mbappe and Marco Asensio are garnering major attention for their teenage talents right now, how does Rashford compare alongside them?
