Nardiello returns to Blackpool

Blackpool have recalled striker Daniel Nardiello from his loan spell at League-Two outfit Bury.

Injuries to Ben Burgess and Billy Clarke had left the Seasiders short of attacking options and Ian Holloway's squad has been further hit by David Vaughan's suspension following his sending-off at Ipswich.

Holloway praised Nardiello - who scored four goals in six appearances for Bury - saying: "He's shown during his spell at Bury that he is fit again, in form and scoring goals. I think it was a bit of half-decent management to send him out and get him in the right shape to come back into our first team."
