Bristol City have been dealt an injury blow with the news Ivan Sproule faces up to three weeks out with a hamstring strain.

The winger pulled up just before half-time during the 1-0 defeat at Doncaster on Saturday.

Boss Gary Johnson told the club's official website: "Our medical staff sent Ivan for a scan and it has shown a strain. It's likely he'll be out for around three weeks."

He added: "Everyone is really disappointed for Ivan, especially as he has only just got back into the team. We'll give him all the time he needs to make a recovery."
