Leeds manager Simon Grayson is expected to recall several players to his starting line-up for the visit of Southampton.
Grayson rested the likes of Jonny Howson, Jermaine Beckford, Luciano Becchio, Casper Ankergren and Patrick Kisnorbo for the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Accrington.
Grayson, who has no new injury or suspension problems, must decide whether to retain skipper Richard Naylor at the heart of defence.
Naylor returned to the side against Accrington following a calf injury that had ruled him out since early November.
Hogan Ephraim, who scored his first goal for Leeds on Tuesday night after arriving on loan from QPR at the end of last month, is hoping to retain his place in the starting line-up.
Southampton will hand a late fitness check to Morgan Schneiderlin ahead of the trip.
The in-form French midfielder suffered an ankle knock during Wednesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Norwich and is doubtful, so Paul Wotton stands by.
Defender Radhi Jaidi and striker David Connolly should return to the starting line-up after being rested in midweek.
Goalkeeper Kelvin Davis is getting closer to a return after a groin injury but may not be risked at Elland Road with Bartosz Bialkowski likely to keep the gloves again.
Veteran full-back Graeme Murty is the only other absentee with ankle ligament damage.
Saints will set a new post-war club record if they avoid defeat - extending their unbeaten run away from home to 11 matches.
