Miller nets double in Rangers triumph

Published Add your comment

Kenny Miller struck his second double in five days as Rangers stepped up their impressive goalscoring run by thrashing Motherwell 6-1.

Miller added to his strikes at Dundee United in midweek with a brilliant early opener and second-half goals from Kris Boyd, substitute Kyle Lafferty, who hit two, and DaMarcus Beasley consolidated Rangers' position at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

Motherwell were overrun but they got a consolation when Shaun Hutchinson powerfully headed home on his return from a hamstring injury.
