Canaries cruise to win

Published Add your comment

Norwich closed the gap to the automatic promotion places in Coca-Cola League One with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Huddersfield at Carrow Road with Wes Hoolahan, Chris Martin and Gary Doherty finding the net for the Canaries.

Danny Schofield's late equaliser saw 10-man Millwall claim a point in an astonishing 4-4 draw at London rivals Charlton in Coca-Cola League One.

Two Steve Morison goals had put the Lions ahead but Deon Burton converted two penalties, the second of which saw Nadjim Abdou dismissed, to level the scores.

Nicky Bailey put the Addicks ahead for the first time before Dave Martin equalised. An own goal from Morison looked to have given Charlton the win but Schofield knocked in from close range in a dramatic finale.

Adam Stansfield's curling 17th-minute effort saw Exeter beat Southend 1-0 in a game which both sides ended with 10 men.

Three first-half goals helped Gillingham to a comfortable 3-1 win over Stockport.

Denis Oli's overhead kick and further strikes from Febian Brandy and John Nutter made the points safe, with Michael Rose netting a consolation for County.
