Struggling Wycombe earned a 2-2 Coca-Cola League One draw thanks to Matt Harrold's late penalty, having played almost 70 minutes of their clash with Oldham with 10 men.

Wanderers keeper Scott Shearer saved an early Paul Heffernan penalty before John Akinde put Wycombe ahead.

But Akinde was sent off in the 23rd minute after raising his arm to Sean Gregan, and goals from Danny Whitaker and Reuben Hazell put Oldham 2-1 up until Harrold scored from the spot after Whitaker had fouled John Mousinho.

A second-half goal from Andy Monkhouse saw Hartlepool draw 1-1 at home to lowly Yeovil.

The Glovers took the lead through a Sam Williams strike but Monkhouse tapped in for Pools in the 67th minute.

Walsall came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 home draw against Leyton Orient.

Ryan Jarvis and Tamika Mkandawire looked to have out the visitors on their way to victory but striker Troy Deeney grabbed a second-half double for the hosts.

Brentford moved clear of the drop zone thanks to Charlie MacDonald's late goal which gave them a 1-0 victory at MK Dons while goals from Craig Curran and Gareth Edds helped Tranmere beat Bristol Rovers 2-0 at Prenton Park.

Swindon claimed a 2-1 win over Brighton thanks to a second-half goal from Charlie Austin while leaders Leeds claimed a 1-0 win over Southampton at Elland Road.
