Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll admits he is unlikely to be able to bring Billy Sharp to the club on a permanent basis.

The on-loan Sheffield United striker hit his sixth goal in as many games and James Coppinger added a second as Rovers sank Derby 2-0.

"He's here until the end of the season unless Sheffield United get an offer to sell him they accept and Billy decides he wants to move," said O'Drsicoll.

"I would love to make it a permanent move but any bid I put in would have to have a couple of noughts added on to get it accepted.

"But you have got to be pragmatic about it. It's a win-win situation, Billy has got his career back on track and he's scoring goals for us.

"If it works out for Billy I will be delighted and we will send him on his way and say thanks for the memories."
