Torquay boss Paul Buckle believes the 1-0 win over Hereford stands his side in good stead ahead of Monday's trip to Bournemouth.

Nicky Wroe's first-half penalty secured the Gulls' third successive home league win, to leave Buckle in confident mood.

Buckle said: "That's 10 goals in three wins and three clean sheets in a row now and the goal for the team is to keep another clean sheet. We can build on that. The team are on a roll at the moment and a joy to watch."

He added: "We are all looking forward to going to Bournemouth now because we are on a roll. We know it's going to be tough because they have been up there at the top all season so far but we are in good form ourselves.

"I want to enjoy watching this team play and I enjoyed it (against Hereford). There were some terrific performances out there and I want us to keep playing the way we have been this month. Long may it continue."
