Nottingham Forest hope to have Wes Morgan available for Coventry's visit to the City Ground.

The defender missed the goalless draw at Watford with a bout of tonsilitis. If he does not recover in time, Reds boss Billy Davies will stick with Luke Chambers alongside Kelvin Wilson at the heart of the back four.

Radoslaw Majewski and Nathan Tyson provide options in midfield should Davies want to freshen things up, while strikers Dexter Blackstock and Robert Earnshaw will also be hoping for recalls.

Guy Moussi has missed the last six matches with an ankle problem and the French midfielder continues to struggle.

Forest will be looking to end 2009 on a high by extending their unbeaten league run to 16 matches.

Richard Wood could return to Coventry's starting line-up. The centre-half has been sidelined recently with an ankle injury but came on as a late substitute for James McPake in the 1-0 victory over Doncaster on Boxing Day.

Manager Chris Coleman revealed after the game that McPake was suffering from cramp in his calf and it remains to be seen whether he will be fit to feature at the City Ground.

In-form striker Freddy Eastwood may miss out after playing 80 minutes against Doncaster despite struggling with an illness. Clinton Morrison is likely to be handed a start should Coleman decide to hand Eastwood a rest.

Sammy Clingan is set to be named among the substitutes again as he continues his rehabilitation from a broken toe.

But defenders Marcus Hall (calf), Ben Turner (ankle), Jordan Clarke (knee), midfielder Isaac Osbourne (knee) and goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopoulos are all set to remain on the sidelines.
